Scarlett Root - CFO, Florida

Scarlett has been with Bright Future since its inception in 2006. For three years prior to joining Bright Future, she was the controller for Amber Electric/IES. Her responsibilities at Bright Future include directing all financial and accounting system activities for Florida, monthly preparation of financial statements and work in progress schedules, and managing the company’s annual audit. Her experience in construction accounting began in 1991, working for local site work contractors. A native of Orlando, she graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky, with a Bachelor of Science-Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Florida. She is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
